Ok, so.. this will depend on the progress of the required EogView
interface that is currently stalled in bugzilla[1]. Please add yourself
to the CC and you will know when there's some progress[2].

The patch for the clutter backend depends on that patch, so getting it
ready for trunk is the step 0.
