Only my login password, the password for gnome-keyring (which contains several other passwords) and the password (or passphrase) to unlock my ssh keys are the same. My Evolution directly connects over ssh to a remote /usr/bin/imapd (no password needed since it uses ssh-agent). I do see the advantages of this approach, but presumably you don't. > [snip] > But what you're arguing sounds a lot like: I don't want any passwords, > lets do away with them all together. You obviously don't get the point. I guess you're the kind of guy that remembers 4 WEP keys, because saving them (encrypted in gnome-keyring!) on-disk is too much of a risk for you. mvrgr, Wouter -- :wq mail uws xs4all nl web http://uwstopia.nl and it's you i see :: but you don't see me -- coldplay
