Ideal Developer Documentation

I'd like your thoughts (in the wiki) about our future documentation:

If you had a book with that table of contents would you be satisfied
with GNOME's high level documentation? Imagine for a moment that our
reference documentation is very complete (though I maintain that it's
not that bad).

In the wiki please, not as a big amorphous thread.
