You might also want to ask on the Dbus list whether they would consider
supporting profiles directly in addition to its introspection facility.
I know Dbus wants to remain a low level lib but profile support there
would greatly enhance its usefulness and make its relatively costly
introspection process unnecessary - a time saver as well as a
performance boost so its worth asking.
