Matthias has worked around the problem in Fedora with this patch:
http://cvs.fedora.redhat.com/viewcvs/*checkout*/rpms/gnome-system-monitor/devel/gnome-system-monitor-2.9.90-libgnomesu.patch
It looks like it just reverts back to the code from GNOME 2.8. This (or
something like it) really needs to be in CVS ASAP.
