You can't really get anything very close to an official no or yes at
this time; according to http://www.gnome.org/start/2.9/ the new module
decision comes around January 10th. For what it's worth (not much),
you've got my vote. I think you're on the right track and that you
stand a good chance, but that's just my opinion.
