In that case, when there are so many entries for one menu, the
implementation could create a virtual submenu grouping the entries.
For example, in the case us /usr/share/doc, instead of showing up all
the subdirectories of doc, a virtual submenu can be shown to the user,
something like:
a...
b...
gnome...
lib...
or
a2ps-4.13b ... cpio-2.5
cracklib2.7 ... freetype-2.1.9
gail-1.8.9 ... samba-3.0.8
