Is there any evidence this would noticeably improve things? On Linux at
any rate the overhead of a process vs inproc component isn't really that
large. You lose if you are doing RPCs to it obviously but just for sitting
around waiting for events I doubt it's a big problem, especially if they
were moved to be loaded *after* the main desktop UI is loaded.
