Hint.  Users absolutely don't f***ing care about what modules ship in
the desktop.  No real users use the core desktop.  Nobody goes around
downloading GNOME or visiting the GNOME site unless they're uber geeks
or developers, both of which understand they can download the apps as
add-ons as they see fit.  Real users only use a distro, which is pre-
packaged and assembled and will include the extras.

Perhaps you should be pestering the Fedora team or some other OS to
ensure that all the add-ons you personally feel are important should be
added.

I can personally understand your frustration at feeling that GNOME has
(by your own standards) not made much progess; that's no reason to
insult the hard work of others.  Your writing off all that work just
makes people angry, and they are a lot less likely to care about what
you have to say when you tick them off.
