Re: Proto initial GNOME 2.6 new modules decision



I agree with Seth that rhythmbox is definitely a core application for
what a great many users will want to use their computers for (see the
emphasis Apple has placed on iTunes).  On the other hand, when someone
does something like double click an Ogg Vorbis file in nautilus, it
probably makes more sense to pop up a simple media player like Totem
rather than Rhythmbox, which is potentially somewhat scary, especially
when launching for the first time where it spends a long time cataloging
music.
