The distros many of us use (rh, ximian, mdk) do their own thing. We
shouldn't neglect what CVS-based developers or debian users (just to
name a few) should see. I'm looking at grabbing morphix[1] but I'm
really afraid of what I'll see when I boot up- i.e., how much pain I'll
need to go through to make a morphix CD look pretty at startup. GNOME
should be beautiful by default- distros should modify it for branding
reasons, not because it's butt ugly.
