It would be disappointing if it did go in, because then the floodgates
open. The whole point of having a line gouged into the stainless steel
and labelled "feature freeze" is that it acts as a real deadline. Not an
"except for this that and the other thing" deadline, but a real one.
Otherwise you end up with the GNOME 2.0 development timeline.
