Abstract dude! Garrett had an idea that didn't steal from Apple for a
nifty progress.

Maybe there would be some way to get the desktop appearing a bit more
rapidly, ie. instead of showing the splash and keep on loading when it's
done, maybe we could use bits from Havoc's launch feedback to get the
desktop appearing suddenly.

So that it's actually ready to use when the splash/waiting spinning
thingo disappears.
