BTW, is there a GNOME 2 canvas that doesn't suck performance-wise? There
was a short thread I started about it where some suggestions flew around
but none fixed the order of magnitude slowdown of the canvas in GNOME 2.
Does anyone know if one of the canvas forks aims for reaching the speed of
the GNOME 1 canvas again?
