gnome-panel highlight

hello,

I just upgraded my G2D with red-carpet and the panel now highlights each
time I click in a menu, an applet, a launcher or the panel itself.

This feature has long been discussed for accessibility reasons, but I
thought it was considered as a bug by the vast majority of users.

- Is it the normal default behavior ?
- Can it be desactivated using gconf-editor ?
