Re: menus, editing, etc.

hi

two weeks ago i started to try to fix some of the bugs about menu
editing from nautilus. After three days of looking at the vfolder method
and not understanding how it worked i decided to start to write a new
vfolder method.

i've been working on this for 5 days or something like that, the code is
pretty clear (i think), currently all the methods except one are
implemented, i can cut/paste, create dirs, rename dirs, drag and drop,
etc. 

although this may sound ok, there are some important things that are
left:
	* monitoring
	* cancellation support
	* it is not thread safe
	* it leaks objects/memory
	* it doesn't save the state to disk
	* it _only_ implements the applications: scheme

i have some thoughts about how to implement menus for diferent users
(based on the group of the user), retricting menu editing to some
folders, etc.

the bad thing about this, is that i will not be able to work on it for
the next 30-45 days due to my exams.

i'm anouncing it now, in case any one is interested in it.
