so i've got xscreensaver using a gtk based passwd dialog in cvs.
it's not tested all that much, and if you hold down a key it will
infinitely loop, but it is there and works if you type slowly.
it's in gnome cvs in the xscreensaver module on the
xscreensaver-gtk-lock branch.
to build it use: <autogenflags> --with-gtk2, and when you make i
recommend doing make CC=gcc (there are some problems with the cflags it
picks and glib headers).
Seriously, (note use of capital letter) i wouldn't recommend it for use
other than testing / poking. i won't be merging it into HEAD until
after quite a bit of testing.
if someone (owen?) could go over it to check that it's reasonably sane,
i would appreciate it a bunch. you can check the important bits by
doing:
cvs diff -r XSCREENSAVER_GTK_LOCK_ANCHOR driver/lock.c driver/subprocs.c
otherwise just ignore this mail and have a good weekend.
