So you can continue to run "legacy" applications. I use all the GNOME 2
stuff I can (panel, profterm, etc.), but there are a lot of applications
that aren't ported yet and won't be when 2.0 comes out (Evolution,
Mozilla). Having two versions of applications doesn't make any sense
from a user's standpoint... I don't need two bug-buddy apps.
