Ah; I've just thought - what you need to do is see:
eel/eel-gnome-extensions.c (eel_bonobo_make_registration_id) - it's
possible that you're not doing a per display registration. The way this
is currently done sucks great rocks - so I'm hoping to have time to fix
it in 2.2.
There's even a prototype API in libegg AFAIR - although where that's
supposed to go / who approved it's addition is beyond me.
