Hi!
I finished the work on the DnD feature.
It supports local files and URLs from the browser.
Maybe, we could a progressbar to show the process when downloading a handler.
The allowed MIME types are .tar, .tar.gz, .tar.bz2. .zip and .py
Please test it and let me know if something goes wrong.
Sweet mother! It works. I just dragged Callum McKensies calculator from
http://spooky-possum.org/callum/software/
onto deskbar prefs and it worked without a hitch!
You rock Sebp!!!!1111one I'm adding this to CVS so we can get some testing on the road. There are several tweeks besides the progressbar (although I think it is overkill - after all most handlers will be a simple 100-200 line .py).
Loose ideas:
- add a small hint a la the re-ordering one in the prefs
- uninstall handlers? (this one os tricky)
- drag files directly onto the deskbar ui (be it button or entry)
Anyways. Hoozaa!
Mikkel
