Well, Max's SoC project is basically to enable all of that advanced
query stuff to happen in the form of a metadata browser. But some of the
query parsing stuff we just added in 0.2.7 allows you to do extention
queries.

ie.
ext:pdf

will show all pdf files on your computer. Nifty no?
