beagle costs $1,716,596 !

Don't get tensed. Beagle isnt up for sale :-)

I read about ohloh (http://ohloh.net) today and added beagle project to it. 
Its a open-source project analyzer. Among other things, it tries to 
_estimate_ "how much it would cost to hire a team to write this project from 
scratch".

Its more of a concept and probably less accurate, but nevertheless I was 
pretty amused seeing that the estimates: $1,716,596. In comparison, Firefox 
is $2,173,769, Ruby on rails $1,144,234 and take this, PHP 6.0 is $9,061,412. 
(the values are calculated as @ $55,000/annum for each dev)
