You're missing that library, which for me (running the mono 1.1.3
packages) is included in the mono-core package.  Do you have
libMonoPosixHelper.so anywhere?

If you do have it, try running with MONO_LOG_LEVEL=debug
MONO_LOG_MASK=dll to see if there is a problem loading it.
