Thanks Nat. I too felt that we can add the web service listener directly
to Beagled instead of using addl. DBus  overhead. I am working on a
prototype to add a web-service listener to Beagled.

I'd think you'd get a lot better performance if you just added a web
services interface to beagled directly, rather than laying DBUS in
unnecessarily.
