 Could you try manually setting one of those variables:

$ export DBUS_SESSION_BUS_ADDRESS=unix:abstract=/tmp/dbus-RxAdZypZGw

 notice no "'" marks around address itself. It works for me that way.
It doesn't when address is surrounded by "'".
