Folder syncing

Hi.

I have a number of places where i'd like to keep folders synchronised between 2 computers. even the simplest case seem to still trip up conduit, eg music folders where there is only ever new music files added, no files get modified or moved.

I would naively expect syncing folders to be much simpler than sending data to websites. but judging by problems this seems not the case.

Most of the issues seem related to filenames.

both these bugs have patches attached.

I wonder if the whole filename issue should go away if you treat the filenames as unicode (or just a stream of bytes) all the way through.

It would be great for folder syncing to work in the autumn distro releases.
