The following bugs have been filed
http://bugs.developers.facebook.com/show_bug.cgi?id=614
http://bugs.developers.facebook.com/show_bug.cgi?id=615
Anything else you can think of to be requested?

After looking into events it looks very doable, even getting an
attendee list is possible.
Nice, *looks forward to patches with a hopeful smile* :)
Notes doesn't appear to have any API doc there, so I'm assuming
there's nothing included, and contacts seem to give you their address
but no phone, email or IM.
Sounds about how I remember...
This sucks, I think I need to place a few bug reports and see if that
moves things up, otherwise I'll join the mailing list and see if I
can
push it further.

You can get a list of friends quite easily, but its missing contact
details. I can sync a list of places i've schooled, but not get an
email
or mobile number, which would have been so ace.
(The use case i was specifically targeting is where someone updates
their mob and puts it on fb. Conduit could have so pushed the
update
to
Evolution/your phone/etc. Maybe for other use cases there is
something
in there...).
That's the use case I wanted to go for. The events and notes are
pretty standard though, someone invites me to a fb event, I add it
to
my fb calendar, then its on my evo/phone calendar.
If we could get just notes and calendar added then thats a start,
but
short of scraping if the API doesn't support it then there are
issues
that we have to overcome. Maybe joining the developer network
would be
a good idea to at least push this stuff as it is a cool feature for
facebook and conduit alike.
See here for calls and XML samples:
* Getting friends list
http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Friends.get
* Getting info on a given UID
http://wiki.developers.facebook.com/index.php/Users.getInfo
cool cheers

This is a big shame, the API side of things could be
complicated, I
mean retrieving my friends list, then searching for their contact
details. Do you think facebook have included these features in the
API?
The trick of course is to get this stuff nicely dealt with
before MS
do something similar so I think I'll look into the facebook stuff
and
see if its possible. I've got time this weekend so this seems like
something that would be worth a snoop.

There was a blog post that made me want to do facebook contact
sync.
Unfortunately (unless they fixed API) it is impossible without
screen
scraping. That is against TOS and other projects to do it were
"cease
and desist-ified".
I don't know what API is like for other features you describe..
:(

Hi,
I was just wondering if you've got any plans for facebook
contact,
calendars and notes syncage?
This is a feature that would make conduit a killer app for the
online
desktop.
Cheers,
