Clutter 1.10.8 and tslib input

Hi,

I would like to use touchscreen without X. The touch test programs work well.
How can i configure the Clutter to do this? Unfortunately, the tslib input 
cannot be compiled (and it is marked "deprecated" anyway), evdev needs x11,
and i do not find other possibilities.
Do i need newer version of Clutter?
