I just replaced the touch events to mouse events respectively (CLUTTER_BUTTON_PRESS/RELEASE and CLUTTER_MOTION) and now everytning works. So, it is suspicious that there is a problem with touch event handling.
The screen blink is already a problem: if i touch the screen then everything gets dark blue (almost black), the button texts disappeared, and this state remains until i release the screen. Except the scrollbar: when i press and drag, it works without such side-effects. Pressing a button sometimes makes only the button itself dark, sometimes all the screen. However, button press event works well.
