I have done all of the items listed below on the xp version as well. No joy.  Only chronojump mini works.  I switched to com 2 no joy.  The only solution for my xp computer is to try an earlier version of chronojump that worked on xp.  Could you give a link to download an earlier version please? Thank you

I repeat here some things, and i add a bit of information:

1st: on xp if you have chronojump 0.7 it's ok. if you try on vista, install 0,71
2n try chronojump-mini.bat (as i told on previous email)
3d try disable antivirus

Chronopic should work because it's tested. Try lways with no contact
platform connected, only using chronopic3 test button. I suppose it
will work on the vista machine but not in yours.

if this is true, then the problem is in your hardware. The usb driver
configures in your computer COM4, but maybe your computer cannot
manage COM ports higher than COM2 (this happens in some computers)

Then, following the instructions of port detection, you will see an
option on port Changing (maybe using an "advanced" or "configurate"
button). There, change COM to COM1 or COM2. Close all windows.
Disconnect USB cable, wait 2seconds, connect again, and look at which
port Chronopic it's conected. If it's COM1 or COM2. Close ll windows.
Open Chronojump-mini write the port and... it should work!

I will writte all ths info on next version at the program
