Thanks for explanation.  How about "Active, discarding first port"?

In any case, I believe adding a comment for translators[1] would be very
interesting in order to avoid mistranslation. For example, "Active" in my
native language (Brazilian Portuguese) can be translated as "Ativa" (female) or
"Ativo" (male), depending on the context.
