compiling Cheese 3.12.0: configure: error: Package requirements (glib-2.0 >= 2.39.90

David,

I tried to compile cheese Cheese 3.12.0 on Debian testing (jessie) amd64.

When I run ./configure I get the following error:

configure: error: Package requirements (glib-2.0 >= 2.39.90
[...]
Requested 'glib-2.0 >= 2.39.90' but version of GLib is 2.38.2

This requirement can be met only on Debian experimental.

On Ubuntu the lib can be found only or 14.04 (trusty), which has not
been officially released.

Are you aware of this? Any suggestion?
