Hi Florian,
I'm pretty sure that not, but i have no prove for it. The earliest
release of gnome-calendar (i found) are from 23 Dec 2014 and Yorba
quit in October 2015 - so there was a time, when at least two
calendars were in active development.
But you could ask
https://plus.google.com/+GeorgesBasileStavracasNeto , he is the
(if not the only) developer of Gnome calendar.
Best,
Markus

Hi,
can someone please enlighten me: Is the "new" gnome-calendar a
fork of california?
Is anyone continuing the good work Yorba did on california?
Best,
Florian

I found gnome-calendar that seems
better.
When I install GNOME Calendar in Ubuntu, it does not feature
day or week view.
Do you see them?
