buildbot communication

Hello,

How is communication between the server and client handled? Ie, does the
server initiate connection to the client at any stage, or is the client
initiating all the communication?

Reason for asking is that I would probably be able to setup a client,
but since it would be behind a firewall/NAT, the server would never be
able to initiate a connection.
