Cdrtools is the defacto standard for burning and cdrtools has a solution for 
the extra privileges that are needed for full support. AFAIK, libburnia still 
does not implement the features you get with mkisofs and in case you _really_ 
belive you need no root privileges, you obviously don't support all features of 
interest.
