ok, you're building from CVS.
this is due to texitheque trigegring a bug in makeinfo which
leads to a segfault and leaves you without sfi.3.texi.1166.xml.
one temporary workaround is to use an older makeinfo, i.e.
the one from texinfo_4.6-1_i386.deb.

Can anyone say how far away 0.6.4 is from release?
about 0.5 to 2.0 days, depending on how many things are getting
into the current process of releasing beast.
for instance, we just lost the wiki and site-search ability,
because yosh hat to shut down php4 on gtk.org, due to a
recent security advisory.
