I think I worked out whu some of these assemblies were missing.
When I started to play around I built and installed some of the libraries +
mono in /usr/local. I guess this caused some unpredictable results were the
installed (packaged) version used mono from the /usr/local tree; not really
what I wanted.

Have removed everything from /usr/local/lib (that shouldn't be there)  and
am starting to build banshee from scratch.

One thing I'm now stuck with are the libraries (i.e. in /usr/lib......)

Have started along these lines

./autogen.sh GLIB_LIBS=/usr/lib/cli/gtk-sharp-3.0 

but am getting errors during make

Do you have an example of how you build this or are you using
/usr/local/....
