[Banshee-List] Banshee not recognizing my Android Galaxy Nexus phone

Linux Mint 64 bit, Gnome 2, 
Banshee 2.6.0,
mtp extension installed and enabled,
libmpt9 - version 1.1.2, 
Samsung Galaxy Nexus / 4.2 Android Jelly Bean, 
usb connection, phone is mounted by mtpfs, 
mtp-detect command recognizing the phone ok, 
phone contents are accessible by file manager in gnome,
opened Banshee, no devices listed, no phones etc...

Is there a list of supported devices per Banshee build number ? 
is there a specific libmtp library requirements per Banshee build number ? 
Any other linux libraries that need to be installed ?

Can anybody help here ?
