[Banshee-List] How write code for banshee?

Hi everyone, I'm fervent user of banshee player and l love it!, but I've waiting a long for some characteristics that are already reported and I'll try contribute writing some of code (if I can; I dont know very much about programming). I am in the process of documentation and setting of environment, and I can run bansee from source code in monodevelop (really I'm in my first steps, don't expect very much) when I build & run banshee from monodevelop notice that my library, settings and so on were used then my first question is if is possible that I experiment with the code without affect my settings. Thank and excuse my english I'm spanish speaker.

PD: I did not found the development list, there?
