[Banshee-List] Banshee documentation : 'scrubble'?

Hi,
I am translating Banshee's master documentation and I am blocked by the 
'scrubble' term. This word is often used for game and commercial names, 
but I can't find it in all american-english on-line dictionaries I 
consulted. I don't understand what it means.

Please help me. Can you give some equivalents for it?
