You have to checkout the banshee-2.4-stable branch from my github repo if  
you want to compile banshee 2.4.x (advised). If you want to compile  
banshee from git master, you can use my bockbuild's master but you will  
have to apply this patch before compiling:  
https://github.com/Dynalon/bockbuild/blob/master/packages/patches/banshee-gtk-mac-integration.patch

I'll clearify that in the build instructions.
