I too have this problem of changing the info in the metadata in Banshee but
when in other programs, ithe changes are not there.
Also, I use EasyTAG to write to the metadata but when in Banshee, the
changes are not there.
I have the option "Sync metadata between library and files" ticked but it
does not make a difference.
I'm currently using V 2.6 (2.6.1)
