OK. I installed 2.4.0, then sync'd from my playlist. It did not do any good - I'm still missing the tracks that weren't copying over before. What it did do, however, was copy over some other playlists that weren't part of my smart playlist, so I have a number of tracks on there that I didn't want on there.
