The server was indeed low on disk space. I cleared some old backups,
so it should be better now.

Although we've already reduced the rate at which it is submitted, the
usage stats do generate a significant amount of data. I think we're
well into the 10 millions line in the main database table. But that's
not the only thing eating disk space on the server, which is also
hosting the website, tarballs, OSX and Windows binaries, etc.
