I am also (literally at time of writing lol), attempting my second
round of attempts at building banshee on windows.
Are you using a GUI Git enviroment? I found i couldnt configure it
correctly to use git.
>From the git command line (in my case C:\msysgit\msysgit\git-cmd.bat)
to get the submodual you should cd to your "banshee\" directory, and
after running "git pull" in "banshee\" and "banshee\bin", run "git
submodule update --init" in "banshee\". This (in my case) reduced
errors from 240 to 0 on build. And warnings from (i cant remembe, but
i think around 150~ish) to 1.
However due to my infamiliarity with IDEs I cant seem to find how to
build and exicute the build.
