Re: [Banshee-List] Lot's of Crashes on 1.8.0

Hi Arnaud,

The Now Playing crash is a known issue with Mac OS X support -- see here:https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=581964It sounds like using a different version of Mono might be a workaround for this.

From the OS X instructions here:http://banshee.fm/download/it sounds like device support isn't implemented yet in Banshee for Mac, so iPods and iPhones won't work for now.

I'm not sure about the issue with the red "x" next to the song. That usually means that the track cannot be found (or that Banshee can't find the right gstreamer plugin to play that particular audio format). If that isn't the case, you may want to search through open bug reports, and if you can't find it, file a new report:https://bugzilla.gnome.org/browse.cgi?product=banshee

Thanks, and good luck!

Michael

MacOSX : 10.6.4
Banshee : 1.8.0
Hello,
I'm a new user, testing this great altenative !

But I have a bug report :
I try to click on a song, a small red cross apear next to it , the timer
rolls, nothing happens.
When I click on 'playing now' Item, on the upper left, it crashes.
The problem is reproducible.
Stack trace below.

When I try on an other track : sometimes where is sound,
when when I click on 'playing now', same crash.

Sometimes, there is an extra error box from MacOSX complaining about Mono.

Also : no clue about how the iPhone connection works : When I plug it, it is
mounted on MacOSX, but nothing happens in Banshee, and I found no menu
speaking of iPod management, how does it works ?

Thanks !

- Arnaud
