My problem is still persisting. Songs in folders like 

#favorites 

won't show up in in smart playlists anymore. I used 

/%23favorites/ 

with bansee 1.5.4 and it worked there. Now replacing the 23% with the
corresponding hash key does not work either. So I guess this is a real bug.
And all other folders with hashes AND spaces wont work either. So the bug
which was fixed here https://bugzilla.gnome.org/show_bug.cgi?id=612152 also
applies to other symbols, still. (On windows I also was used to use tildes
for folder naming).
