The album art in the bottom left corner has been gone since Banshee hit the
1.0 stage, but you'll be happy to know that it's back in the latest Banshee. 
It's not in 1.5.1, and I don't think it's in 1.5.2 (I could be wrong), but
it's in the development version of Banshee and it will be in the next stable
release (1.6.0) which will probably happen in April.

I'm not exactly sure what you mean.  If you want to see a bigger version of
the album art, you can hover your mouse over it.  If you mean that you want
the interface to display mostly album art, then you'll be interested in the
soon-to-hit-Banshee grid view.  Read Aaron's blog for more info on that:
