So the problem looks like it's actually in libgpod. I'm looking into it now. I'm pretty sure Rhythmbox is failing for the same reason. Could you attach the /media/BUCKLEY77!'/iPod_Control/iTunes/iTunesStats file, and if it doesn't even exist (which I'm thinking it might not) say so.
