Re: [Banshee-List] lyrics plugin (V1.5.5.0) never shows any lyrics

When I had problems with the lyrics plugin it put out another error, as a result though someone was nice enough to have --debug display more precise info. I'm not sure if this is what that was. In the latest 9.10 System -> Preferences -> Network Proxy is set to direct connection for me and I am able to fetch lyrics. I tried fetching lyrics for Train "Brick by Brick" and was unable to, but instead of 404'ing it told me no lyrics were found and gave me other suggestions. Good luck with this

Thanks for the suggestion.

Running `Banshee --debug' gives me the following (randomly taken) lyrics
related messages:
[24 Debug 10:24:41.384] The request timed out,
http://www.lyriki.com/Hundred_Reasons:No_Way_Back
[237 Debug 13:33:28.394] Error: ConnectFailure,
http://api.leoslyrics.com/api_search.php?auth=duane&artist=Train&songtitle=Brick_By_Brick
[237 Debug 13:33:28.739] The remote server returned an error: (404) Not
Found., http://www.lyriki.com/Train:Brick_By_Brick
[43 Debug 10:36:00.286] The request timed out,
http://api.leoslyrics.com/api_search.php?auth=duane&artist=Hundred_Reasons&songtitle=Slipping_Away

What I read from this is that Banshee is able to connect sometimes but then
the request times out. But more often it just gives a ConnectFailure or a
(404), depending on the server.
Is it because of this proxy issue? If so, how can I resolve the issue in
Ubuntu?
